“My friend and i needed a room with two beds as we were playing golf at Lake joseph golf club and Rocky Crest golf club. Sherwood inn only had rooms with one king or Queen bed only. “I liked the view from the deck looking over the lake. People still have to pickup after the dogs as there are kids around. The beds were comfortable, but the internet cut in and out if you were in the cabin. Over all very nice place to stay.”

“The cottage was beautiful. We stayed for a concert and got a cab to Bala. Worked perfect for us for the night. Lots of space. Didn’t get a chance to spend a lot of time exploring the property but overall was very happy with it! ”

“The property and cottage were well maintained and overall we enjoyed our stay. The ad stated that there would be an additional charge for pets without a value. Upon reaching out it was not clarified and ended up being $75 per dog on arrival. It would be appreciated if that was communicated prior. Our initial greetings with the host were rushed and there were errors with the wifi connection effecting our payment. “This property should not be rentable. We booked it for a 1-week family vacation based on photos, but it smelled of stale air and mould. Despite being “professionally cleaned,” we had to sweep, clean the BBQ, and scrub the oven ourselves. The furniture was old and musty, the bedrooms had poor DIY fixes, and a kitchen drawer was falling apart.
