“Front desk reception was nice. There was a note in the room notifying of the dust due to construction. It was fine, but it would have been nice to know at the time of check in if not prior to booking our stay. Residents were quite loud walking through the hallways, but to be expected as I'm sure people are there to have a fun time. This is not the hotels fault by any means, but maybe a floor can be designated for families with small children to avoid late night crowds.”

“This place is all about location. The experience in a 2-room suite was like staying at the home of an elderly relative who hasn’t updated their furnishings since the 70s. The rooms were spacious but a bit musty and quite worn. But it’s half a block to the main street so overall it’s a good choice if you don’t mind the thin walls and shag carpeting.”

“Very beautiful hotel, in a historic house of ferndale.room was clean, the bed was a bit small and too soft. Breakfast is served in the main room and there is some choice of hot and cold food. ”

“The room was ok but the table and furniture were sticky. The bed was clean and confortable. The location was convenient and fairly quiet. However, we experienced a power outage during our stay, and the front desk staff was not particularly welcoming or friendly.”

“Beautiful home, well maintained, and a great experience. We felt at home and lucky to experience staying somewhere with so much character. It really feels like you’re in a different time. The breakfast was delicious and room was clean and comfortable. One slight negative was the water for the shower was temperamental…but everything else was perfect!”

“My kids and I loved it. It was the perfect combination of cabin and hotel room. We took an amazing walk down to the creek. I wish we would’ve been able to stay another night.”
