“I have not been to many properties in Matheran, but I would say this is an ideal property for a fun vacation it is located over from the hustle and bustle of the city and you feel like you’re in the quiet hills cottage. The property is old, but very well preserved and staff is very courteous and very helpful. “The property is new (started Jan 2025) so everything has the 'fresh' character to it. We stayed here for 8 nights in Aug 2025, in the middle of rain season so everything around was green..the mountain view from the room was pleasing and aesthetic. The food was great. The entire staff was great in their "eager to please" service. The housekeeping staff were very attentive and always available to help us on short notice.
