“Overall is very run down compared to photos. Sheets were dirty for the first 2 days on arrival. Floors were dirty. No working shower, no hot water. Kitchen barely has any food on menu never in stock or limited choices. Bed was extremely noisy. Pillows were awful we got very sore necks and back and we aren’t old. Rust present in bathroom. Mould in bathroom. Room smells musky like mould. Village across is very noisy. They leave big outdoor lights on that shine right through the windows while...

“We booked here for one night, but we were left stranded by the airline, so we stayed for three nights: It has been a beautiful experience, the staff was incredibly helpful and kind, they helped us in every way they could. The place is quiet and charming, the garden beautiful, breakfast is rich, and we enjoyed the view on the lagoon and the free kayaks. Very good value for money, if you are looking for tranquillity.”

La zona non è adatta alla balneazione (praticamente l'acqua della laguna non è proprio limpida) e arrivare al centro città occorrono più di 20 minuti a piedi e di sera l'illuminazione è parecchio scarsa. Praticamente è un hotel utile per una o due notti di passaggio. ”

“Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

“Hotel has no elevator so need to climb 1 or 2 floors, with luggage if there’s no porter. Location quite near beach cafes and bars. Walking distance to city’s only shopping mall. Hotel rooftop has good view of sunsets. There’s a karaoke room and small coffee cafe in lobby ”

“Location was good, resort rooms/apartments need work as the are aged and run down, only 1 kayak didn’t leak, no bikes, grounds and pool/deck was good, iguanas are locked in a small cage with nothing and overcrowded (should be at least a small bird aviary with a tree/shrub them in it), food was good, u have to ask for rooms to be serviced (u might get it). We had no water a few times and couple of nights, Beach was good. ”

“Aggressively average. Things here are similar prices to Australia. The bathroom smelled bad, kind of like old pee or terrible cleaning supplies. Also we ordered lunch at the pool on our last day and because they were so slow making our food (50min a burger and a wrap), we asked where it was and they hadn’t even started making it!!! We were late to our airport transfer, took another 20min to get a refund. So after all that we didn’t even get lunch! On top of that, none of the staff had any sense...
