“The appeared to be a little rough around the collar, not as professional as most places. However, the stay itself was good. The rooms are nice, as are the amenities such as sitting room with fireplace. The breakfast in the morning was quite terrible some items being overcooked others items being cold. “I personally think this hotel is the best value in Dewey Beach. It’s not on the ocean however it’s only two blocks away. One block from Bottle &Cork and two blocks from the Starboard.”

“Beach View is an older property, however the rooms and bathrooms have been updated with upscale fixtures and plush linens. The big plus is that the hotel is 1/2 block to the beach and only a short walk to Rehoboth Avenue (the main street that bisects the town and ends at the beach) and the boardwalk. There are many restaurants within a short walking distance, even a couple next door to the hotel. The hotel lobby has a couple of nice seating areas, as well as tables for breakfast. A nice touch...

“I paid around $75/night to stay here during the off season and thought it was a good hotel for the price. The lobby and stairs were sandy but otherwise the common areas and rooms were well maintained.”
