“Asked at reception for room to be made up and shower gel refilled in the morning. Got back in the afternoon to find a stack of new towels left in the bathroom, room not made up, rubbish still in bins, and still no shower gel.”

“The room was comfortable but the lighting was too dim to read by. The hotel is surrounded by construction for the light rail. It's noisy and makes it hard to get around. The bar is pleasant and we had a good dinner with great service in the dining room.”

“This was our 3rd stay at the Statesman hotel the location is great for our needs and having the option to eat in at the hotel or surrounding restaurants is really nice. The bed was really comfortable, not so much the pillows though. I will definitely stay there again as it also is a very well priced stay too.”

“Would stay again just for the complimentary mini bar, what a game-changer! Staff were incredible - shout out to Daryl in reception. He left a jar of lollies for my son upon learning it was his b-day. But every other staff we I have interacted with was incredible, warm but professional, communicated well. “A top notch experience for our four night stay in a one bedroom apt at East Hotel in Canberra. Underground parking was a key consideration for our stay and it worked well ($20 a night).
