I liked most things about the property except during check-in was told I owed an additional $246 US because Expedia charged me EBB Can rate instead of US rate. Spent hours of my three day vacation trying to resolve this issue. I should not have been caught up in an accounting/rate war between Expedia and Hedonism II.
During my entire stay, I couldn't connect to the Wi-fi. The in-room safe was broke then fixed, then broke again. Therefore, I carried my travel documents and money with me because I couldn't trust the lock on the safe.
Aside from this and a few minor issues, the staff, the grounds, entertainment, the food, the room, the view, and the weather was excellent. I give a special thank you to the front desk. They are the very best in customer service. Thank you for showing me kindness...
