“A lovely and tasteful conversion of an old school house by the current owners Chris and Lisa who made us welcome on first arrival! Entering through a gorgeous large porch into the wonderfully large yet cosy hall furnished with comfortable chesterfield and fireside chairs and kept toasty via a large attractive log burner! “As soon as I walked in, I was impressed. Beautiful Naomi at reception had already upgraded my room. Which was warm, fluffy towels, luxury tea tray. The cafe has great coffee served by super friendly Anna. I travel a lot and often skip a hotel b'fast due to the poor quality, but this one was delicious and made from scratch. Yum! Naomi made up the real fire for me so that I could do some work in the lounge before I left. Excellent and highly recommended. ”

All of the staff here were so friendly and accommodating, even arranging taxis for us and then keep an eye on them to arrive while we had a beer.
