“Room was clean but the rest of the property was not. Staff was not helpful at all. Breakfast consisted of english muffins and butter. Not a great experience.”

The property is modern, clean, and up-to-date. The king room had a kitchenette and a very large bathroom/shower. Some crumbs on the living area carpet should have been vacuumed up, and some spots on the bathroom mirror led me to question whether the place was thoroughly cleaned, but other than that, the place was spotless. “This building is beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. We stayed in "Kate's Room" and the bits of history and decor were elegant and deliberate. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was comfortable, and the house was quiet. We will, without a doubt, stay at the Shamokin BnB again if we find ourselves in Shamokin.”

“Simple, bare-bones older motel but comfortable and quiet (other than road noise) for an overnight stop midway home.”

Cons: - Both shampoo bottles were sticky. - This was the only stop during our cross country drive where we felt like one of us needed to watch the half packed car while preparing to check out (after seeing someone wandering around).”

“This facility is located in a shopping complex with Area nearby. Quite a number of restaurants within walking distance (Chic-Fil-A, Chipotle, Outback, Texas Road House, etc.). It is close to highway (actually 1/2 of the rooms facing highway). Could be a little noisy in the early morning. The room is spacious and clean, the facility is clean and well maintained. The breakfast has limited variety, although adequate for the facility.”
