“Amazingly clean! Loved the location and how it smelled....its like fresh fresh linen....such a lovely environment. Free Breakfast was a plus, and a pool and gym! AMAZING!”

“Beautiful breakfast at this very old hotel built in 1716. It was like walking back in history. Narrow staircases. Clean rooms. Staff were all very nice! ”

“Room smelled like dog”

“Kind of hard to get to but once you’ve seen it in the day time it makes more sense. Very clean property with nice staff. Visible signs of aging, chipped paint on walls and ceiling and bath tub. The floor between the floors seems quite thin. Wasn’t an issue the first night but the second night our neighbors upstairs sounded like elephants. Overall not a bad stay.”

“Room is huge, so is massive soaker tub that was amazing. Only somewhat down side is bed is hard and breakfast really isn’t breakfast, it’s snacks to go but appreciated, better than nothing. Check in easy, lots of parking near room, felt very safe there.”

“Terrible staff”

“The only okay I gave was for the maintenance of the property, this was due to the outside of the property where the parking lot could use an update & there was some water problem where trucks were parked, so hopefully they were trying to address the issue, but giant puddles of what smelled like sewage.”

“This place is very beautiful however, the food was overly salty, when I went to take a bath there wasn’t any soap available and there wasn’t a pool available.”

“Did not have a handicap room for us want William to use a luggage bench as a shower chair bath room was a tub not a roll in shower not a handicap toilet or any bars didnot stay very upset claimed they had no handicap rooms unpacked our car had to repack it and find another hotel will never use Expedia again very disappointed and dissatisfied ”

“Large, confortable and clean room. Philadelphia was easy to reach by car”
