“Stairs to the rooms were quite steep but the room was great. Comfortable bed and lovely to have fresh milk and homemade cookies. Unfortunately the shower could do with some attention as water was really slow to run away.Good selection at breakfast, staff were friendly and very accommodating. Could do with either cleaning or replacing the carpet on stairs and landing as it’s very stained and does them no favours in terms of appearance. Overall great stay and would recommend.”

“Another great stay at the Crown & Garter. Friendly helpful check in & room was very comfortable & spotless as usual. Had a meal with family in the evening & can definitely recomnend eating here - food is excellent, using local ingredients. Had bacon rolls to takeaway on checkout, which was a nice surprise. Looking forward to our next stay - we wouldn't go anywhere else when visiting the area.”

“L'albergo è nuovo e moderno. Le stanze sono impeccabili in quanto a pulizia. Il ristorante interno è di buona qualita. Il parcheggio gratuito è molto comodo, ance se scoperto. “Beautiful place! Wonderful amenities and such a lovely staff. I was very ill upon arrival (stomach flu) and had a terrible time getting to the hotel. My husband went in early (since I couldn’t function) and asked if it would be possible to check in a bit early so that I could get into a bed and rest. La ns camera era una famigliare molto ampia, completa di tutto e con un suo fascino antico. Davvero gentili i ragazzi che gestiscono la struttura. Colazione favolosa. Parcheggio convezionato a breve distanza. Abbiamo anche approfittato di un'ottima cena al pub dell'hotel."
