Hotel a New Haven

“Everything about this property was perfect. The on-site restaurant bar was excellent. Food, drinks, staff were exceptional. Highly recommend. Would return in future.”

“Only complaint: no grab bars in the bathroom & no railings by steps. Both of these things are very dangerous for mobility-impaired folks.”

“Good: Nice area, easy to find, reasonably convenient location, helpful staff, great price, great parking, good diners nearby, good AC. BUT, room very musty, smelled of urine, very hot on arrival (AC off and window with holes in bent screen open), door jamb split as if it had previously been forced open, puddles in bathroom. I like simple, inexpensive, funky motels when I just need a place to sleep but this was smelly and seemed poorly maintained.”

“This was an older hotel, that was poorly taken cate of. Our door saw outside light. It was old and not a place I would stay again. The clerk was very plesant. It was near some restaurants, but nothing really great.”

“The Expedia description said breakfast is included, but, there is no breakfast. The manager simply said Super 8 motels haven't done breakfast in a long time. I wanted to tell him I stayed in a Super 8 only a few days early and it had breakfast, but didn't want to start an argument. But hey, there is a McDonalds across the street and you can grab breakfast there. The real reason I am ranking this 3 stars is one,there was a used wet towel in my room (hanging on the hook behind the bathroom...

“I loved hot tub and pools. Bath robe and slippers were shortage.”

“Found a dead bed bug. Pool was unusable. AC didn't maintain temp. Parking lot not lit well. Restaurant closed. Appeared to be people living there. Not a safe feeling atmosphere.”

“Before I start this, I’d like to let you know that I already know you’re not gonna respond back to what I write, but I have other ways to let people know exactly how this property is. I was very unsatisfied with this property. First of all they said there was a pool but when we got , the pool is not on the property. You have to walk a block down to best Western to go to the pool they should’ve been told the website so that we would be prepared for that now my biggest issue is I did not like how...

“The staff were really nice. The breakfast was excellent, the beds super comfortable. The only thing they need to pay more attention is to the pool since it was hair the 2 days we been there , does it mean nobody clean it? The bottom of the shower door was a little gross , it was residue there, like they need to use a brush to clean that part . The price was good . I will come back to this hotel next time that I visit Oswego .”

“The lodge is probably a great place for people heading out fishing. If this is not your case I would look elsewhere .the rooms were comfortable but very basic. There were no screens on the windows, so you couldn't get any fresh air. The cleaning products they use have such a strong odor it turned my stomach. The toilet backed up the second day. At least it was quiet.”

“Half of the parking lot out front is dug up and closed, but it's still possible to drive up to the hotel's reception area/lobby to drop off people/things.”

“Tiny tiny samples of soap and shampoo. “Free” breakfast only available on weekends, and was very limited: dry cereal, bagels, and fruit.”
