A family crisis required our presence in Brooklyn the next day. Based on the ads images and others' reviews, I thought we would be in a quiet place that my daughter, her husband and new baby would find sanctuary and able to plan for recovery from a home disaster. We reserved two rooms. The AC roared, no soap in the bathroom, no food in the neighborhood, except uneatable take-out Chinese recommended by the hotel. The "spa" musac in the hallway whispered through the night. The room was clean, except for the strong air-freshener reek that fortunately wore off and the cigarettes under the bed. On the up side, the breakfast was ok with many carb rich options. The fruit was almost ripe. The staff at the desk were very friendly and worked tenaciously replacing the burnt out bulbs in the room's lamps.
