The host greeted me with welcome arms and made me feel very safe as a solo person staying for the night. Would recommend for anyone needing a cute place to stay in the area!

We really liked staying here! The rooms are small so be prepared for that, but it worked perfectly just as a place to crash for 3 nights as we were out exploring the city. Nice lobby area, the staff was super nice and helpful. Definitely would stay again!

The Franklin is a wonderful location on the UES for food, museums and the park. Easy parking. Smal space rooms but classic, clean, safe and easy.

Rooms are on the smaller end but thats really the only minor downside. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, area is very safe, and gwtting to public transit, food, or central park is all a convenient walk away

The Franklin has a classic charm, yet is in excellent condition and is kept very clean. The staff are kind and helpful. Very easy access to the subway, the Metropolitan Museum of Art and other museums. Plenty of walkable restaurant choices. If you are not used to NYC hotels, remember, "cozy" means TINY. The hotel website is very clear about room size square footage, so read carefully. I find The Franklin to be excellent value for Manhattan and will return. Interacting with other guests in the lobby, it is clear that people come back to stay here again and again, as will I.

The room was tiny, but most NYC hotel rooms are tiny. For one person it was fine. I loved how they cleverly created a little “closet.” Getting in and out of the bathtub was tricky but possible. Just don’t rent room 105 if you can help it. There’s a little cage area just outside the window, and it can be noisy. The young staff is very pleasant and friendly.

Overall stay was fine. Great location on the Upper East Side. Only downfall, Television stations were limited, although we kept busy exploring NYC, TV wasn't a priority.

The Franklin was a wonderful place to stay. The staff were so helpful, and kind. The hotel was very clean and although the rooms were small it was clean and comfortable. We loved the many shops, restaurants and neighborhood. We will certainly stay here again!

Found this comfortable hotel and stayed two nights. Helpful, friendly staff. Clean, well maintained rooms. Comfortable mattress and bedding. Recommend this hotel close to Mt Sinai hospital.

We enjoyed this hotel. It was small but adequate. The bed was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and their recommendations for local bagels was spot on. Only c/o was the bathroom was tiny and the sink was about the size of a dinner plate. I recommend it for the location.

Todo excelente , solo la habitación esta muy pequeña para una familia de 4 integrantes con 2 maletas de 23 kgs y 4 maletas individuales , no queda espacio ni para caminar.

Very accommodating
The staff and front desk have been super accommodating. Our stay in NYC was medically necessary, and The Franklin made us comfortable and their kindness helped to alleviate the stress we were under.
