“A great experience for us staying in a houseboat at Island harbour, a tranquil area of the Isle of Wight, makes for a relaxing stay but in easy reach of the rest of the Island. On one of our days there we had friends over for dinner and due to the sunny positioning of the bi-fold doors, we could open these to the full extent, sit out and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. “We all loved our stay at Calbourne mill, a lovely peaceful week, comfy beds and great location. Peacocks and Red squirrels out of the window most mornings, we would definitely return. ”

“The size of the accommodation was great the bedrooms were a really good size, the sofas were very comfortable, and it was handy for the whole island Maybe some hooks on the backs of the doors for towels, I'm afraid the bathroom window wouldn't open”

“Room was much bigger than expected (possibly an upgrade) and seemed to have been recently renovated. Spotlessly clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast was included although my invoice stated room only. Apparently all rooms here include breakfast which was very good. Highlight really was the friendliness of staff which is probably because it’s an independent property and they genuinely want to make guests feel welcome. ”
