Hotel a Newport

“Place was clean, but in a medical facility kind of way. Also, woke up to no hot water. Front desk acknowledged no hot water in the kitchen either. Another said it must be that everyone was using hot water at once. I asked if showers by guests at 7:00 am on a weekday was not something they expected. Asked for a credit and the front desk took my number promising to call back. Never did. Emails unanswered. Seems as though this brand is independently owned and managed. I will stay away in...

“Wiped out after being in the hospital all day, the staff was great at making check out fast, convenient and coffee in the lobby was perfect! Room was everything we wanted, clean, spacious and the bed was heaven. Breakfast leaves nothing to want. Huge selection and the kitchen staff kept it clean and full the entire time.”

I had to change rooms bc the first room had not been cleaned and the 2nd room I was given was "cleaned" but I had to change the sheets bc the bed has been slept in and made up over dirty sheets. “My only concern was that the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, so everything was covered with moisture whenever I took a shower. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. It has been a good stay. Amenities were exceptional. I would recommend Baymont. Excellent value for the price.”

“Because of the graduation at VT their prices were inflated (all hotels & motels were) but it was the cheapest I could find. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The place is older and could use some renovating. Overall a good place to stay, nice friendly staff.”

“Parking was limited. There was no drop off/pull up to front door. We are seniors,and there was no elevator, but front desk was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. We changed out from a King to 2 doubles. That was fine.”
