Cottage a Newry

“We chose this property for our family trip to Ireland because of its three bedrooms, vast array of amenities and location, especially its proximity to the city of Newry and, last but not least, its view overlooking the town of Warrenpoint and Carlingford Lough. By the time we got to 27 Pinewood Hill and settled in for our stay, we were blown away by the exceptional quality of our accommodations. All rooms in 27 pinewood hill including the three bedrooms, bathroom (walk-in shower), half bath and...

“Patrick is an amazing host with easy instructions to check in and out. Red Robin cottage was an absolute delight and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”

The host was super helpful with anything we needed and the cottage is spotless. The parking was tight, but there are lots nearby if you aren’t comfortable with the curb parking. For future travelers from the arid American West, Europeans don’t use a top sheet and regulate their inner temperatures different...

“AMAZING.This place is an absolute treasure of a find. I've traveled a lot and stayed at a lot of different properties. This has to be one of the best. Immaculate, beautifully themed, friendly reception and in a quiet pastoral setting yet close to where you want to be. Totally hassle free but a very comfortable experience which we all want on our journeys.I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again. I would add another star if I could .Well done!”

The outside furniture is in a horrible state that I wouldn’t even let the kids sit on with the rust. The oven was in a disgusting state and the fridge door was broken. The state of the cottage was like nothing I’ve seen before. Which is very surprising considering that when you book this property you are then told that the...
