“Accommodation perfect for us as was its situation that allowed us to visit all the towns around Devon that we had planned. Communication good and would definitely stay again as we would like to visit the area possibly for a longer period next time .”

“Nice, clean cottage furnished to a high specification which is well of the beaten track. Family friendly with a large communal swimming pool and games room and outside play area. There is a PodPoint 7kw charging post which is charged at a very high price if you want to use it. Consequently, there were at least 4 EV/PHEVs parked on the parking lot but nobody used it.”

“If you want a quiet relaxing place this is definitely the place to go. The landlady has thought of everything in the property to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Will definitely be going back in the future ”

“Thorn Cottage is bursting with period features. Gill was very welcoming, showing us around on arrival. We ate at The Wild Goose on both nights of our stay and highly recommend both the pub and Thorn Cottage.”

“Nice quiet place to stay up a quintessentially Devon lane. The property is compact and quirky but has everything you need for a stay. Lovely welcome pack which was a nice suprise. Woods with great circular walk for the dog 2 mins further up the lane. Enjoyed our stay.”

“Arrived in the rain but didn’t put a dampener on our stay. Super cosy cottage, with everything that we needed. Location was perfect and with fields opposite we could let our dog have a runaround before venturing out for the day. Surrounded by beautiful countryside a real get away from the usual hustle and bustle of everyday life. Lovely homemade bakes on arrival and a bottle of sparkly. Thank you Jenny & Mark”

“An absolute gem in idyllic Ashburton, Devon! The Annexe at Amberley Farm was cozy, comfortable, beautifully decorated, extremely clean, and relaxing. The hosts truly thought of everything We were visiting friends in Ashburton recently along with our two kids, and loved having a comfortable space of our own. We would absolutely recommend and happily visit again in the future!”

“This house proved to be an idea l place to spend a few days with grandparents, children and grandchildren. The facilities were fantastic and allowed us to enjoy our holiday despite very poor weather. The warm enclosed swimming pool enabled the grand children to improved their swimming skills and the movie screen and projector allowed the adults to catch up on some movies. I hope we get chance to return before long.”
