Inoperable lock, clogged shower

We used this hotel upon the recommendation of a friend and due to it's proximity to their home. Upon checking in, the lock on our room was dead and it took facilities 20 minutes to repair it and change the batteries. Upon entering, the room was very small (king bed) with no refrigerator ($15 upcharge). That evening my wife got in the shower to find that the drain was totally clogged. Again, facilities was sent up and attempted for an hour to unclog the obstruction. They were unsuccessful. Instead of a manager coming to our room to resolve the situation, I told the bellman that we wanted to switch to the room across the hall. He agreed and I transferred our clothes and belongings. The next day upon checkout when they inquired about our stay, they were unaware about the shower issue. When I brought it to their attendtion, he credited $32 in bar fees which he said was our "dinner." I assumed it was the $125 we spend for dinner there but only found out 2 days later that they credited the drinks only.
On a positive note, the facilities people were nice and worked diligently to resolve my issues. The restaurant manager was also very friendly and helpful at brunch. However, this does not make up for the other issues and poor management. My recommendation is to avoid this hotel.
