“The room was nice but the hallways were departed with peeling wallpaper and construction appeared to be going on. The hallways were not air conditioned and were very hot and humid. Guests should have been warned about the construction before booking. The room was good and the a/c in the room worked well but you were hot with a wave of heat in the inner hallways. Staff was nice”

“Rooms were dirty, smelled bad. AC dont work, had to switch rooms thrice still no luck. DO NOT GO HERE”

“Prepaid for a King Room and the plumbing did not work properly. I was told that my only choice was a Queen Room where the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work. I had to pay extra for the King Room and was not offered any type of compensation. The housekeeping staff were very friendly.”

“The property was beautiful with some very nice sitting areas. The pool was very nice & the room quite comfortable. The hostess Vanessa was welcoming & made a lovely breakfast each day with fresh coffee, baked goods & hot food. She went above & beyond to make our stay nice. We would definitely come again. There are some great restaurants in Gonzales as well. ”

“Food and God only knows what else caked on the bed spreads. Cockroaches came home in our luggage!!!!!! We left a day early. Heard a guy come in the lobby and ask new linens for the bed because there was URINE on his!!!! The manager acted as though the man wad making it up!! There weren’t even phones in the rooms to call the front desk or 911 if the cockroaches overtook us!!! Absolutely DISGUSTING place!!!!”
