Hotel a Nixon

“Parking was great. Clean room. I only would have liked if there was a coffee maker in the room. I had to walk down to the office to get coffee.”

“The hotel was very clean. Staff was polite and helpful . Breakfast was very good. ”

“Several of us have stayed in Luling for over three years as we search for Missing Person Jason Landry. The staff at Best Western are always kind and accomodating. We love the facilities as well. Getting two free drinks and chips and salsa are a nice bonus each evening.”

“Great location but very ran down. Rooms were decent but there was mildew on the ceiling and around tub in the bathroom area. No maintenance was onsite and room phone was unable to connect to the front desk to request services. But the staff was helpful and accommodating ”

“Office staff was not very friendly and willing to work with helping to resolve booking issue with Expedia. The rooms only offered a small bar of soap - no lotion, shampoo or conditioner for hair. The bathtub has been painted at one point and is peeling and gross looking. Old and run down place for the price. ”

“My room was an interior room. Yes, think inside stateroom on a cruise ship ie, no windows. I noticed the hand towel that was hanging up was damp meaning it was used. I didn't report it since there was a dry one available. Could not get the TV to go on but since i arrived back to my room aftet 9:00pm, I didn't want to bother anyone. Bed was comfortable enough. Didn't use the shower so no comments on this. ”

“The smell in the room and the floor dirty, nope thank yo, not anymore EVER. Even when I mentioned that to the nice guy in the morning at the desk he said … : oh yes they are planning to remodel, but don’t know when. Well overpriced for such room. And poor reaction from the management team. And the reception was very average . Anyway enough said I guess ”

“There was only hot water one day, out of four stayed. Front desk did not respond to this concern. Not super clean. Musty and smell of past flooding. ”

“I booked a suite with one queen bed. We were given a standard room - no explanation as to why. We didn't discover this until we entered the room we were assigned. We had been charged for a much more expensive room. I went back down to the desk and was told that all suites were booked. I showed the desk clerk that i booked a suite and was told to wait 5 minutes while she checked "something". She came back and told me she had a room for us but the toilet needed to be fixed before we could move in....

“Room was relatively clean and tidy. Place could use some repair and painting. Fine place for a fella to rest his bones or for a short work stent away for work. I wouldn't bring the kids to stay but fine for me for few nights. Staff was nice and helpful when key stopped working. ”

“Showed up for a reservation and nobody answered the front door had to knock on a door to get someone to come to front desk only to be told that the room we had were not available. I had booked 3 rooms and was left trying to find another place at 11 at night. With no help and no call about the rooms not being available. ”
