“Staff was very accommodating!”

“The room was decent. We were not a fan of the beds, they were too hard, but that's just our preference. The hotel it's self is ok. They carpets throughout the whole facility were dirty in the hallways.. The second floor, where our room was, smelled like gas. The clerk that check is in on Friday was nice but he just acted like a robot and going through a script someone wrote for him. Not much of a personality for someone who works in hospitality. The breakfast was ok. Eggs were watery. But when...

“Everything was clean and looked well maintained. The bathroom looked updated, the bed was comfortable. Only suggestion is to put a mirror in the main room outside of the bathroom.”

“We were in town for the Regatta, so the hotel was crowded. Everything was clean, staff was friendly, especially at the breakfast area. The breakfast was a nice bonus with a waffle machine, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, muffins, yogurt and cereals.”

“You get what you pay for. The room had a strong musty odor when we entered. There was black mold or mildew on the blackout curtains. The paint was peeling off of the walls in the bathroom. Water came out brown from the shower to start. Beds were comfortable though and all we needed was a nights sleep so we made it work.”

“A decent place to stay for the price. Convenient to dining options. The room was clean and well lit. Water pressure was fine. The mattresses were a bit soft for my liking. There was no hair dryer in the room. 😟 When staff cleans a room there should be a checklist of essentials they sign to indicate the room is ready. Having ear plugs supplied at the bedside should’ve been an early indicator of a noisy air conditioner. The staff is trying hard, but renovations are needed.”

“Charming place, clean, close to a lot of shops and food. Walked to the river multiple times. Good location. Will stay again.”

“Clean enough for a cheap overnight. Problem was none of the drains were draining properly. Bathtub filled up while showering, and sink filled up anytime it was used.”

“The roo.m was clean overall. The shower head had calcium deposits on it and needed to be cleaned. Batteries and remote control need replaced because they would not work unless you were right up on the TV.. lobby area was very warm in humid. Overall it was a nice day for the money we did not take part in breakfast so we could not write that.”

“This was one of the few rooms left in town for Madison Regatta 2026. Pretty standard for a pet friendly hotel, we were traveling without our dog, definitely in need of a massive remodel. Front desk had a left over Covid glass in place, so communication required asking for repeats at loud volumes coupled with several middle eastern accents it was frustrating to try and communicate. Enclosed pool was not vented nor air conditioned, it was stifling to even walk in the door. Lots of trash in...

“I love hampton suites. Very roomy and well laid out. What I didn't like was the noise from the bathroom. Sounded like a water leak with a constant drip sound. I reported it and was told it was a fan making the noise. 2nd night we turned on the bathroom fan and shut the door. This worked pretty well. All in all nice stay minus the drip sound the first night. Very friendly pleasant hotel staff.”
