“We decided to stay in the slightly larger room which I’m pleased we did. Everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable, tea, coffee making facilities good. The breakfast was excellent, can not fault a thing. ”

“Amazing stay at The Priory. Sarah was such a lovely, friendly host, full of stories about the building and couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was enjoyable. I stayed in room 5, which was a delight - the bathroom was gorgeous, with a roll top bath and waterfall shower. The bedroom decor was tasteful and it felt cosy. The breakfast was hearty and very tasty. I couldn’t have asked for more from my stay. I will definitely be returning if I’m in the area again. ”

After enjoying an excellent meal served by very friendly staff we retired to our comfortable, clean room, where we were able to experience a good nights sleep. We were not disturbed by traffic from the adjacent road despite having the window open. Breakfast was wonderful and set us up for our onward journey.”

“Excellent 10 out of 10. Our 3 day Xmas period stay with our dog was from arrival absolutely superb. All the staff are very pleasant and helpful; the room was warm, comfortably and clean. The food throughout our stay was excellent with a menu to suit everyone and the Xmas lunch was fantastic. This is definitely a place to revisit.”

“Lovely place, great location on the high street. Private, off street parking is very helpful - the entrance to it is through a very narrow archway which was a tight squeeze for an SUV. The property itself is well kept & equipped. Very clean and nicely furnished. Communication from the owner by text on the day with all the check in info was very helpful.”
