“We booked our 'deluxe' room based on Expedia positive reviews but I have nothing nice to say about this hotel... When we arrived there was no one at the front desk, and when got to our room it was freezing so we put on the heater which was very loud through the night... In addition, the walls are so thin I could hear my neighbors word for word and footsteps over my head late night and starting at 5am, plus the garbage trucks at 6am. “Room rate quoted and booked on expedia did not match the rate I paid. Hotel charged me an extra amount. Staff stated, "expedia calculated the tax wrong". Ultimately the unexpected charge did not break the bank, but I don't like booking a reservation with the promise of one rate and, once checking into the hotel, being forced to pay additional amount. ”

“I couldn’t be happier with my stay. Everything was perfect and I love the train theme of the inn. The inn is very clean and the accommodations were excellent. The Steaming Tender restaurant located within easy walking distance from the inn will not disappoint and is a must see. The restaurant is located in the old train station and has been masterfully restored. The food is very good and the atmosphere is spot on if you’re a fan of trains. These places should be on your list of things to check...

“The bedroom and entire first floor living area was clean and nicely appointed in period decor. The self-check in process was simple and convenient. Lastly, the staff went above and beyond to find and quickly mail back my forgotten prescription eyeglasses to my home address. Will definitely stay here again if visiting the pioneer valley. ”
