“Lovely place to stay ”

“A beautiful period property in a stunning location. Always a warm welcome from the owner and you couldn’t find a more beautiful setting to wake up.Deer often walking around the grounds in the early morning when you open the curtains of your perfectly decorated room.”

“We stayed for an event at UEA and the location was perfect for this. Setting was beautiful in a small village with a river running through -great for an evening stroll. Our bedroom was very very close to the road which becomes a commuter cut through in the mornings. This did lead to some unwelcome traffic noise from around 530am. ”

“Lovely room. Ours was at the top, it was a hot night and heat rises! We did have the windows open but it’s quite a busy road so lots of road noise. The blind also let in a lot of light too and if light sensitive there was a bright green light shinning in the ceiling. Bed very comfortable as were the pillows. Restaurant packed and the food was good. I had the roast and my husband had the mutton curry - huge potions. Staff very helpful and smiley but rushed off their feet. ”

“The hotel is in a great location, easy to walk into the city or to the station. There are some great dining options around the hotel. We stayed in the Surlingham suite which was gorgeous. The view in the morning of the cathedral was fantastic. The staff could not have been more helpful, everything we asked for they accommodated. We'd definitely stay again!!! ”
