“We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-day stay at Copperhead. Our cabin was very clean, comfortable and cozy, and the staff, especially Denise, was very friendly and accommodating. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and the huge, wraparound porch. The Flying Trout had great food and live entertainment. Not mentioned in other reviews is that it is close to an Appalachian Trail access point on Route 19. All in all, a very relaxing mountain hideaway.”

“Breakfast was almost non-existent. I don’t know if the breakfast area is contracted, because the guys was leaving at the end if the week, but there was very little in the way of stuff on the breakfast bar.”

There were a few down sides to our stay- the hot tubs were warm, but the jets didn’t work and even though there are 2 of them- they are pretty small. When I said something about the room and the mold issue, I was told all rooms were booked however there were more than half the rooms empty all night. “We ended up booking this place to stay for the weekend but we didn't even check-in in the apartment. The street getting to this place is very rural and tight with no lights and we quickly realized that it would have been impossible for us to drive in and out of it easily at night. The street also doesn't seem to have any lights which makes it dangerous to drive in.
