“Stayed 3 nights with family, children included. We go to Surfside Motel annually, sometimes twice a summer. The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. My children and their friends enjoy the pool. It’s located on the main ocean block. Across from the boardwalk and Lucky Leo’s. It’s a Jersey Shore motel so that’s what you need to expect. But totally worth a stay!”

“This property was disgusting and I would not recommend it to anyone & I was afraid I was going to get sick while staying there. It reeked of mold. The wall air conditioners were filthy & taped together. Ants were crawling all over the sink. The Tub was clogged & filthy. The lamps were all rusted. A duck was the occupant of the filthy pool and I didn’t see the sign connected to the metal fence because a vehicle was in front of it but they are being reviewed for environmental issues and should be...

“I appreciate a good budget motel, I have no problem sleeping without luxury. I always figure I'm on vacation to enjoy the sites, I just need a clean safe bed. I did have that here. However, the beds were small--did not seem as wide as regular doubles--luckily we just had one person per bed because two per bed would have been tight. I had reached out in advance to ask about the kitchen in the premier apartment--were there plates? Answer was yes. Truth is there was only one old plate. Two burner...

“The room was like it hasn’t been updated since the ‘50s. The towels were stained and the soaps (2) were very, very tiny, barely enough for a shower, and no shampoo. The tub and toilet are very old. If my wife and I weren’t so tired when we checked in I would have asked for another room, but I think it wouldn’t have made a difference. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.”
