“Had to Check in at the counter, staff was very nice. My room was spacious king size bed with walk in shower, coffee maker and microwave. I worked during the day with a Hot Spot wasn’t the best. Went downstairs in the evening had a variety of different machines, played had a nice time. Ate at the Food Court, prices weren’t bad, was happy with the food selection. Will definitely go back!”

“Outstanding place to stay. The mountain view I had while eating breakfast was outstanding. Check in was probably the easiest I've ever had anywhere. Nice, quiet and easy access to the park and river walk and the casino. I plan on staying here next time I come the Cherokee.”

“Expedia let us make reservations several months ago for Super Bowl Weekend but did not coordinate with the owners of Newfound Lodge as the hotel was closed for the season. Expedia should not be making reservations for a hotel that is closed and also should let customers know that it wasn’t going to be open. I don’t blame Newfound Lodge but this needs to be fixed! ”

“This was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. The room was in very poor condition—there was no hot water, the shower and toilet were both broken, and overall the place felt run down and poorly maintained. On top of that, there was no smoke detector, which is a serious safety concern. And I even stated it to the staff and basically gotten brush of about it. This property clearly lacks basic upkeep and attention to guest safety and comfort. I would not recommend staying here, and I...

“Close to restaurants and shopping. Great Smokey Mountain Railroad Train Depot about a 2 minute drive from their parking lot. The staff is AMAZING! They give you options for your breakfast and serve it exactly the way you want it. The homemade blueberry bread is delicious. You will get a tour of the grounds as soon as you arrive. The rooms are very clean. The whole place is very charming. I highly recommend. ”
