“My husband and I made an excellent choice when we decided to stay at The Lucky Buc! It was perfect for a long weekend get-away! It was very clean, very easy to find, and located in a good spot right in the middle of the village, yet off of the main road just far enough. We really enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend anyone looking for a cozy, pet-friendly spot to vacation to check it out!! :)”

“We stayed at the canal house. Most of the time spent was at the beach, but the time that we were at the house was really nice. It was very clean and I loved the owners sense of style. The house sits right next to a canal and it was nice to drink my coffee and look out on the water. It’s a lovely quaint little place.”

“The house was big and beautiful. It was stylishly furnished. The views from the top floor and living area were fabulous. With all of the sliding doors and screens, we could hear the wonderful roar of the surf all the time. This would be a wonderful place for a family reunion or a group of good friends with or without kids to get together For a week. There was a lot of provisions for babies and little kids like a crib a little stroller there were baby gates. ….. Couple of recommendations:...

“Home was well equipped. Kitchen cupboards were not cleaned need to be wiped out. Trash cans were full when we arrived, making disposal of our garbage difficult also increased the fly problem. Extra pillow cases would have been nice there were plenty of pillows just no linens also there were no linens for the hide a bed . Location was great. Views from the deck was amazing. The lay out of the house was ideal for our family.”

“Very spacious house with everything needed for a great stay. Large open space upstairs with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean. Huge pool deck and entertainment area. Read a book, play games, watch movies, go for a swim in the pool, sit in the jacuzzi, go to the beach- you never have to leave the house. We had a great time at Splashing Around this year.”

“Wild Peony was the perfect house for us. It was convenient to everything in Ocracoke Village. The house had all the comforts of home and a well-equipped kitchen. It was also immaculate! The best feature of this home was the lookout deck on top of the house. You could see Widgeon Woods, the marsh grasslands, the Pamlico Sound, the lighthouse and the sunsets and starry skies at night were just breathtaking! And you're up above everything in town! We hated to leave, and will definitely be back!”

“Condo très près de la mer; permet d’éviter de prendre la voiture pour se promener sur la longue plage. Ce logement est facile d’accès et comporte à peu près tout ce qui est nécessaire dans la cuisine. Lit confortable. À première vue impeccable; cependant les propriétaires d’animaux devraient être plus soucieux des autres et empêcher leur animal de compagnie de prendre place sur les sofas ou de prévoir une couverture le cas échéant. Les sofas mériteraient un nettoyage à fond.”
