“The family run Welbeck Hotel was perfect for our short stay on the I.O.M. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, serviced every day, early access to our rooms was much appreciated. Meals were served in a lovely dining room with a good selection of breakfast options. In our opinion the hotel is worthy of a higher star rating, the fact that it’s a 15min walk in to town was not an issue for us. We would definitely stay...

“Staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was more than I could eat, so asked to reduce after first day. Manx cooked breakfast was great, but the only small issue was that 'runny eggs' do not mean uncooked eggs (fried and poached, had the same issue). This was a small issue and I have made the comment so that the hotel can address as I will be staying there again. Thank you.”

“A very nice quiet hotel located right of the promenade , villa marina and near many good places to eat and shop within walking distance. Excellent staff provides quiet, friendly service. Room was very comfortable , quiet and everything worked well and was well maintained. It’s a great choice in Douglas. Restaurant had very good food too.”

“Best place I’ve stayed on the Isle of Mann. Room was well maintained, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was 1st class, good quality and very welcoming. Staff were excellent from check in, to the bar staff and breakfast staff all couldn’t do enough for you. We shall be booking for next years visit.”
