“Room was very clean aside from the bathroom mirror, I had front desk give me a rag & cleaner so I could clean it myself because by the time I checked in at 3pm housekeeping was gone for the day. We had a over all great time. Little bummed the sauna was out of service & breakfast wasn't included but there is a restaurant with 20% off coupon from hotel to use. We chose to not ro use that & just brought our own breakfast, dinner & snacks!”

“The Midway Motel does need some refurbishing and It appears that it is happening slowly. The room was very clean, no complaints there. The Television didn't work and the manager was out of town for the day so nobody could come to fix it. Same thing the next day. When the manager returned, he was at my door ASAP. He was terrific. He was far more savy than I would every be but needed to contaonding to the Remote. So although two days without TV it was fixed.”

“Recently refreshed property. Definitely get the "mom and pop" feel, in a good way. Rooms are not overly spacious, but very clean and functional. The heated outdoor pool was a plus and every staff member we ran into, ask how are stay was and if they could do anything. Short ride from the Elroy/Sparta trail and 10min walk to many food/drink choices. Will stay here again on our next trip to Sparta.”

“My only complaint was I had asked in advance if I could check in early and was told I could and when I showed up they said I still could but it was going to be $20.00 to check in 15 minutes early… I had to, but it was a little ridiculous. Next time, you should inform the guests ahead of time.”

“I really loved this hotel! I stayed at the Americinn in Tomah on the way to Ohio and there was mold in the bathroom so this was an excellent change! The bathroom was beautiful! All around great hotel!”

“filthy, puke all over a garbage can in the pool area. been there for days. day three actually found a garbage can Thet wasn't full. breakfast area was a disaster, coffee, no cups, waffles, no forks, juice cups, no juice, garbage cans full of leftovers and waffle mix dried all over the place. “Had to ask for clean linen because the bedding looked dirty and not changed. Pool area was down. So no pool, no hot tub. Wasn’t aware as they never told us. Breakfast they offer is a joke. Everytime I went down they had 2-3 packages of plain oatmeal, barely any milk or cereal and a half loaf of bread that sat there for almost the 2 weeks I had stayed here in total.
