Great initiative from staff despite the high temperature they ensured there was always ice cubes available for the rooms and offered free ice cream during the day. The guest house is close to everything, with a small Morrisons conveniently located at the end of the road. The couple who run the guest house were lovely and made us feel very welcome. “When we arrived we were greeted by a young man after ringing the doorbell, he took us through to the bar lounge, and read us a load of rules about the place, then he asked us if we used deodorant which a strange thing to ask then said don't spray in the bedroom because of the smoke alarm. The room we were given was supposed to have been a double more like a single with a double bed in it.
