“Orford is a delightful village and the crown and castle sits in the centre. Very comfortable. Lovely staff and delicious food. ”

“Comfortable, clean room in a quaint old pub. Food was OK, but pricey. The most disappointing thing, given that the pub is owned by Adnams, was the quality of the beer. I tried all three of their staple brews, all of which I know and like, but they were all flat and lifeless. They were also very expensive given that they were only brewed ‘up the road’!!”

“Clean room tastefully furnished as well as the lounge areas. Staff were excellent, polite and always helpful and friendly throughout the hotel. Dining was great experience quality of our meal excellent. Well stocked bar for us. Would recommend and go again. ”

“Property was wonderful! Large kitchen /dining area ready family meal. If you want to cook there everything you need is there already to prepare meals. Large comfortable living area. Bed was comfortable and warm. Property right across from the beach and close to center of the town. We had a great visit!!”

“Had to cancel my stay, yet they billed my credit card for 12 nights. Admin error at best, theft at worst. I'm letting my bank deal with it. Would not recommend unless this gets resolved. ”

“Room was clean and fully equipped for a quick morning coffee which is helpful. Staff was nice and check in and out were very smooth. The only problem is that room isolation is not very good so we could hear noises from the outside and inside the property late at night. Would recommend irrespective of it. ”

“I had a lovely large room with a wonderful view of the golf course. Generally the room was clean and tidy, but there were areas that looked a bit dreary. Carpet was threadbare in places. The staff I had interaction with were friendly and welcoming and very helpful.”
