“A friend and I visited the Railway Inn for a nights stay recently. The rooms are in an adjacent building from the Inn, so are completely seperate. The twin room we had was a very generous size, we even a sitting area and an ouside area. The staff at the Inn we really nice to deal with and very helpful. We arrived in time to have food at the Inn, which was really nice. We'd definitely stay there again.”

“Excellent breakfast fresh food and served quickly.
Friendly staff.
Not so enamoured with all the steps at the front of the hotel not disabled friendly. There was a door leading off the car park but still had steps to negotiate.
Otherwise it was a nice stay and was made to feel welcome.”

“We had a wonderful visit only marred by problems of cleanliness in our room.
The reception staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us. They were friendly, helpful and when they said something would be done, it was.
The food was excellent and service prompt but unobtrusive. Will definitely return.

“The room was cosy and had everything we needed. A fridge with water and fresh milk was a great addition. The evening meal and the breakfast we really delicious. Ellie showed us to our room abd served our drinks and evening meal. She was fab.”

“Very well presented hotel. Only issue I had were long gaps in attention and service at dinner. From being shown to a table, getting a drink, ages between starter and main course. Wine glass stayed empty for ages after Ist round. The gentleman who attended at breakfast conversely was attentive, quick and well organised.”
