Thanks for your 4* review but I’m also sorry to hear you weren’t entirely happy with your holiday . Just to explain a little; we used to have an indoor dining table in the lounge but found it was hardly used; the majority of our guests preferring to eat at the table on the terrace….it’s such a sun trap even in winter…. So we opted for more space inside, instead. However we did make sure it’d be easy to move the terrace table inside for anyone who prefers it so I’m sorry if you didn’t realise it was ok to do this. I agree that the mirror in the lounge is positioned quite high. However, as an average height person I think the other mirrors are positioned around average height. I usually use the mirror in the full bathroom for hair, make up etc and there’s a wooden stool for sitting on which is kept in the second bedroom the rest of the time. With regards to the cafe downstairs I’m sorry you found it noisy. The plus point and overwhelming feedback from the majority of our guests is that it’s great to have a couple of eating places so handy ( and that between them they cater for both British and Spanish appetites). The bylaws, which are strictly enforced by the Guardia Civil, prohibit noise after midnight, which is actually quite early for Spain (!) and I’m happy to say it’s a completely different story from the main Cabo Roig strip which can be very noisy and has a number of late night licenses. Once again thank you for your review and I’m just sorry that it wasn’t a 5* holiday for you on this occasion.

During the summer months there’s a “land train” , ( try Googling the Orihuela Costa Tourist Train,) which can save you the walk back up the hill from the beach. Hi Ed, Thanks very much for your 5 star review. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay at the apartment and made the most of the pool. It certainly is a very handy place to stay for all facilities and I'm glad you liked the restaurant on the ground floor! There are two restaurants on the ground floor of the block and both offer good food at good prices and a chance to sample different cuisines. The bar which is also on the ground floor does have occasional entertainment etc in the evenings in the summer season. However the by- laws are quite strictly enforced in Spain so this does have to finish by 12.00, [which by Spanish standards is quite early!] As you say, it's not been an issue for you, which is great. Hi Gary Thanks for your review and I’m glad you enjoyed the apartment and the welcome pack. It’s nice to be able to relax when you arrive, that’s what holidays are for! We try our best to think of everything and we do provide a mattress topper as an option for anyone who finds the bed too hard. I’d definitely recommend it if you come again. We’ve also replaced the car parking fob battery recently ( but we must have bought a dud!) so thanks very much for putting that right for us.
