“The property is waiting for a customer like me to screw up. I booked for Thursday and Friday, but the property still put the apartment on available for Friday and Saturday for a higher price. Then, tell me they only have one night for me. And, can refund half of my money. That way they got three days rent and higher prices on Thursday! The apartment itself used old bedding. “I arrived in Oslo and I still hadn't heard from the host about how to check in. I finally heard from the host and found out that the host had apparently canceled my booking and tried to reschedule it for the following week. This was not communicated to me previously. It left me stuck without a place to stay that night. I had to book a hotel room last minute. Luckily, vrbo reimbursed me. Not sure if the mistake was on the part of the host or vrbo, but the whole thing rattled me.”
