“Hotel was great for a quick business stat”

“My husband and I stayed here for a hockey game and it is a quick train ride to Blues or Cardinals games from SLU's campus. The building is beautiful and historic and the staff was friendly and helpful. It would be a fantastic place to stay if you were visiting the SLU campus and enjoying the theaters next door. The Inn is extremely clean. The rooms and the lounge were very charming. You park right out front for free. Wish we could have stayed longer. ”

“This is a historic property with some iconic features. However, the staff at the beginning were not as knowledgeable about the parking situation and it was a bit inconvenient. I have stayed at the Waldorf Astoria to compare, perhaps ”

“If ww were stayed at Fifth Floor I would give five stars but footfall noise is quite critical. I suggest a renewal with carpet instead of compact vynil tiles”

“The breakfast was lacking, parking was expensive and a pain (although the valet were the nicest staff), the pool was cold, our room was missing condition and they never brought us soap, they repeatedly forgot our towels after cleaning, our safe and phone were broken and never replaced or fixed after several requests and the blow dryer was weak and terrible. Good location across from The Foundry. ”

She keeps the establishment immaculate, and served a scrumptious homemade breakfast! “The room could use some work. The paint falling from the ceiling in the bathroom wasn't great, the baseboard trim was held by 4 screws and putty. The fact I left the reservation early because of drug use and someone using a BBQ while drinking on the floor above me wasn't great either. When I reached for a refund of the days I was leaving early, no manager was around to answer and the lady at the desk talked like I was a 2 yr old.. ”

“This is a hidden gem. I had no idea this property was open to the public, and what a beautiful spot. The Washington University campus is gorgeous, and it made a morning walk extra enjoyable. The staff was helpful and our room was spotless. Parking was quick and easy right across the street. ”

“The property was clean and food was good, but the cleaning staff knocked on our door at 8am sharp asking if they could clean, they also had construction going on inside the building (loud, cutting and drilling in to metal.) would have been nice to know when we talked to the front desk before booking.”
