“Love the Hotel. I m 80 now. I was always there with my parents. As a wee boy it's got a great feeling to it. Only thing I was dissatisfied with. Was fried breakie. It went cold quick too. It cost me. 30£ for two my wife ate very little of it.”

“Really run down. In our room, the shower attachment distinegrated, the bathroom fan did not work, the toilet seat was broken, the electric face plate for the towel rail was smashed, the bathroom door had had 2 big holes filled, the carpet was stained. The entire hotel is run down and needs a full refurbishment. Outside, the beer garden has a fake rolled out lawn, cut badly around the edges with trip hazards. Avoid the restaurant. “Hotel itself is nice and very well located with wonderful view on the Harbour of Tarbert. Room size ok and bed comfortable. What they lacked was not informing that one slide-door of the shower box was broken. Unfortunately I only found out about the problem when I already was in the shower box and managed somehow to close it. When I noticed the problem to the staff, I was told the they were aware of the problem but 1. I was given the room anyway and 2. nobody has thought to tell me about the...
