“When traveling with a pet, pet room smelt like urine and found stains on furniture from I cleaned urine marks. Was almost not able to sleep due to the smell”

“Owner was super nice & prompt in resolving an issue with TV. The room was clean. Clean & comfy bed. Surrounded by grassy area which was perfect for walking dog. No lobby coffee or breakfast- but coffee maker in room. Conveniently located next to large gas station.”

“Everything was great except for when we got there Friday the 10th in the afternoon the short Hispanic lady was on the her phone speaking to friend or boyfriend cause when we stood in front of her she ignored us until my wife got her attention and you can tell while getting our room card she had a bad attitude look on her face cause we disturbed her cell phone moment. “Overall the stay was fine for what I paid. My issue is that I was overchargered. I paid for my room through a third party site, then put down a card for the $50 incidental charge which I was told I would get back at check out. After checkout, I doubled checked my account and found that they charged me an additional $92. I went to the front desk, wasn't offered an explanation but was given a refund and a reciept. Checked my account again a few days later and that refund was no longer there. I...

“The Holiday Inn Express in Topeka was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful the breakfast buffet was hot and lots of choices the room was clean and everything was in working order I would stay there again”

“The pet-friendly rooms were noticeably worse than the standard rooms. They had a strong odor, there was dog hair throughout the room, and the overall condition and cleanliness were much lower quality than the non-pet rooms. If you’re traveling with a pet, I would not recommend staying here. When we raised our concerns about the condition of the room, the staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and rude, which made the experience even more disappointing.”

“Swimming pool was closed during our stay. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was because of the pool so it was a letdown. We could have stayed at a motel for half the price and been just as comfortable.”
