“Ignacio was so warm and welcoming!! He made our trip easy and relaxed. One of the best things he did was to arrange our looked forward to was a birdwatching experience. Our guide was the first female guide in Ecuador. She was excellent giving us so much time and her expertise in identifying a vast array of birds. Carmen’s cooking and homemade breads was exceptional. The whit beautiful setting is a place I would love to return to. I give an exceptional place”

“Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat.”

“This is a beautiful property just outside of the main town of Mindo on a dirt road. It’s very quiet and you will hear the sound of birds and frogs. We saw quite a few different birds just sitting on the porch outside our unit. The staff is very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The grounds and dining area are beautiful. The included breakfast is good and it’s nice to have the option to have dinner on property if you don’t feel like going out. Wonderful stay in Mindo. ”

“Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...

El alojamiento es muy especial con cabañas de madera y Bambu muy acorde con el paisaje y al mismo tiempo de lujo y cómodas. “Would not recommend particularly for families with small children. The restaurant doesn’t work (except for breakfast) and the rooms and hallways are paper thin and noisy. Once the first guest gets up, everyone wakes up. Although the hotel is close to town, and it has beautiful landscaping, I feel its overpriced by a long shot.”
