“Our room was clean, which is top priority. Water pressure in the shower was amazing! AC worked wonderfully. The beds were medium firmness, and I slept like a baby every night. Carpeted floors are clean. I know because we have a crawling baby, and his legs were never dirty. Their breakfast included: oatmeal, Frosted Flakes, fruit loops, Raisin Bran, bread, English muffins, plain donut holes, apples, yogurt, sausage, hash browns, biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs, yogurt, and pancakes. “We only slept there and had breakfast in the early morning. We were out all day into the late evening and came back after eating dinner out. So you didn’t use any other facilities besides what I mentioned already. The price was right for what we needed.”

“This is a great location for a family. Close to Mt Rushmore and the other Black Hills attractions, and well-maintained with a kitchenette and firepit. The only weakness is the loft is very low and our kids were not comfortable sleeping with such a low ceiling. Still 5 stars though.”

“We loved our suite at the back of the property — clean, spacious, quiet. It was a bit of a walk around the back of the pool area and across the parking lot to get to reception (breakfast area, get more towels, etc). There is an indoor and outdoor pool but the outdoor one was closed a few days because of rain or risk of lightning.
