“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. I was there for two nights after having a business trip to Shanghai and enjoyed my time in this charming city. I have never had a hotel staff be more attentive and helpful in my 25 years of traveling for business. In Shanghai, I stayed at a hotel that cost five times as much as this and no offense to that establishment, but this group of front desk, clerks, and office personnel were the best of my trip.

“Clean room. Great value. I loved it being on a pedestrian street but hard to get to in a taxi. More information on driving there would be great. But I should have known to take metro to that area since traffic in the city is insane. Breakfast was good and also could have more variety. Super lovely staff. So helpful and kind. “It looks like the property is undergoing some renovations. Check-in was done by someone at the reception counter who cannot speak English. He came upto our room, but the key card was not working. We had to go back to the reception to get another card for another room. Wifi password was provided only after we asked for it. But the connection was very bad.
No breakfast provided. No restaurants at the hotel. The shower handle at the bathroom was leaking water everywhere.

“I loved the design, the staff (young, fun and very careful). The location per se is also fantastic, next to the XiHu; but I think the humidity is a real problem. They have put dehumidifiers everywhere but still, it smells a bad. Therefore, I think I have paid way too much for an hotel that has such a problem… that’s not good for your health. I stayed just 1 night.”

“Surprisingly good location for West lake and nearby shopping stripe. Located in a quiet street, there is a night market just opposite on the road, and walking distance to West lake in 10 mins. Not your 4 star room, but comfort for a night stay. Facilities are a bit dated but checked-in was smoothand easy, the check-in instructions were clear.”
