“Upon entering the hotel I could tell it wasn’t up corporate standards. The check in clerk was friendly and was able to get to my room in a short amount of time. They put me on the 4th floor which was no problem because they have an elevator. Plus I think with the normal construction guests on the first floor they probably kept me from the first floor noise. “I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel this past weekend. After driving almost three hours to get there, I arrived only to be told that my reservation had been canceled without any prior notice or explanation. It was extremely frustrating and stressful. To make matters worse, the front desk employee named Loy was incredibly rude and unhelpful. His attitude was terrible, and he showed absolutely no interest in trying to assist or find a solution. “Cool location by the lake. Lots of bars and a cool splash park for the kids you can walk to. It’s literally right across the street from the jail and sheriff’s office so safest place in town most likely. The rooms are older and the balcony was covered in spider webs. Staff was ok at best”
