Hotel staff was extremely bad

Hotel staff did not cater to any client\guest, I don't think I was even greeted any time trough out my stay. They seem not to care at all about my or any body experience or stay.

Good location, professional staff. The hair dryer in our room could not be used due to the backsplash above the counter being so close to the electric outlet that the hair dryer could not be plugged in.

Posizione: Everything is great about this location easy access to taxis and the underground train
Employees are what makes the hotel stay pleasant this was our second time at the continental and not so good. Check in was good as were the hotel staff in the front of hotel but staff in the breakfast buffet were terrible there were no one said hello or even a smile it was evident that they did not want to be there.The buffet has gone down hill. They used to have a omelet station that is gone and the choices were the same everyday and they couldn't keep up some mornings completely out of food and had to wait for them to bring more out. I went in to use there computer in there office room on second day and once again no one even looked at me or greeted me in anyway. Then there was last day in hotel check out is noon room was shut down while we were at breakfast with our belongings still in the room we had to go down and have them redo our room keys so we could get in .This is a very old hotel and very comfortable but when employees don't care about hotel guests we will not go back.The one nice person was the lady in the cocktail lounge and we usually tip well for good service little did we know that they charge you at check out for tips and did not lets us know that at check in do very careful and look at the receipts for this hotel.

Pro: Beautiful pool and nice restaurant.
we have stayed at this hotel on at least three occasions usually for two nights for the last three years. Love the location. The metro right there. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Pro: Nothing good about this hotel.
Contro: The WiFi was absolutely horrible
The staff is very rude. The rooms are dirty. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel.

Good Hotel in centre of Panama City

Pro: Location, plenty of restaurants and basic shopping in the area.
Contro: Sound proofing in the rooms.
Posizione: Basic shopping in local mall fine for me. Good restaurants in Via Argentina. Metro stop a couple of hundred meters away.
Stayed 6 nights. The staff were helpful, the room was a good size and kept clean. The room had a refrigerator and a safe (only big enough for documents, phone, small camera not a laptop). Breakfast was buffet style with a good selection of fresh local fruit, pastries/breads, some average cheese (I prefer a stronger flavour personally), cereals, scrambled eggs, meats (USA style) bacon, eggy bread etc; with this there was coffee, tea, fruit juices etc. Only had one evening meal there which was OK (I prefer the many local restaurants in the nearby Via Argentine). The only poor part was the transference of noise from the adjoining room via the locked door. With loud music being played I was set to complain but it stopped.

The hotel is centrally located.

Posizione: Centrally located -- Financial district, metro. Shopping centres
The neighborhood is somehow run-down. The staff at the restaurant and bar were service oriented. Staff at the Reception Desk were to some extent dismissive of client's requests and needs. It took us almost 1/2 hour to check-in and any other time we had a request, we had to wait in line for at least 15 min. Hotel management needs to ensure better coordination between Reception staff and other areas of the hotel (restaurant, bar, telephone services) - it took 2 days to process our request to have all charges billed to our account. Other requests were never met due to lack of coordination (i.e. early breakfast for tours, although they were requested the night before. Feedback was provided to the Hotel's Customer Service Manager.

Nice hotel but low service

Hotel is mostly nice. Small pool, breakfast was always crowded and to be honest also pricey for what they offered. Service is low under our standards, some people look mad when asked for something or didn't answer at all. Room was fine.

nice hotel close to the city and public transist

Posizione: shopping centers and the train station one pass works for train and buses
staff was great very friendly and helpful good food and all good experience easy access to the train station to the city and shops
