Hotel vicino a Parco acquatico Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre - Gloucester

“A nice friendly farm B and B. I was in the anex which was a 1st floor room with the bath room below. It had a whirlpool bath. I found everything clean and usable. It had a small cupboard style kitchenette which was nice with a sink element and plates, cups and cutlery with tea and coffee. The breakfast was in the main farm house next door which was nice and cooked to order by the host who was very helpful and polite. All in all I would use this accommodation again. Thanks ”

“I embrace historic charm and quirkiness; what I don’t like are doors to bathrooms and bedrooms that don’t shut properly and lack of cleaning. The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. The door to the bedroom could not be properly closed and there was no lock. I’m not sure why this couldn’t be rectified as the door frames seemed relatively new and...

“Grand and historically interesting building with extensive beautiful grounds by the Canal. Plenty parking available. Great breakfast, restaurant and bar area. Friendly helpful staff.”

“Clean room, nice scented toiletries, refreshments tray, delicious biscuits, milk in a mini bottle, friendly, helpful receptionist, exceptional breakfast, good size shower, thermostat for radiator could be controlled in the room, wonderful views from the breakfast room, ideal location for walking.”

“Just DON’T. We were misled by pics and text - paid £102 for a shoebox room with minimal facilities and staff not overly helpful. We chose as it looked like they had a Greek restaurant plus steaks - turned up to be told they only do pizzas! We went somewhere else to eat. No breakfast as we are told the toaster isn’t working! Total joke of a place. Didn’t even give them any trade arms the bar. Never to return. ”

“Great location less than a mile away from the M5 and off the main road. Wonderful guy on reception who made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and tidy. We decided to go into nearby Thornbury to grab something to eat. The bed was really comfy and we had our buffet breakfast in the Marco Pierre White restaurant in the hotel which kept us full for the drive home.”

“La pulizia è nella media di posti dello stesso genere: da migliorare. Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene con la stanza e con il cibo. Colazione continentale buona con cornetti assortiti, bevande calde e fredde, varia scelta di marmellate e cereali e yogurt. Non abbiamo fatto la classica colazione inglese quindi non saprei in merito, però la cucina del pub la sera era buona. Spazio esterno per i bimbi con giochi e verde, recintato. Comodo parcheggio.”
