“Wonderful hotel and very clean. In addition the breakfast was awesome. Love the sausage gravy biscuits! I highly recommend this hotel! I only wish I had had the time to visit the pool in between the storms that seemed to occur everyday. Oh well there is always a next time. ”

“I picked this property solely for the price. It was located on a small stretch of road with other run-down low-cost properties and did not shine as the best one. It was an unpleasant shock to pre-pay for the room and then find there was a $100 cash fee that would be refunded at check-out after the room had been inspected. Since the front of the AC in my room fell off as I turned it on, it didn't bode well for me that I'd get my money back!

“I enjoyed my stay at Spark. It was close to the airport, I81, and several shops and restaurants. My room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly, and I had no issues at all during my two night stay. The tv even was on with my name and welcome when I first arrived in my room - that was a first. Perfect for a one or two night stay in the Star City. ”

“We came to Roanoke for the USA Cycling Mountain bike championships . The Fairfield was convenient to the venue(Hollins University). Restaurants were nearby and also there were more a short drive away. The hotel was clean and quiet and offered a variety of breakfast choices each morning. ”

Also…there is plenty of room for all the clothes she needs to bring for pageant week! The staff was excellent, responsive, and accommodating! ”

“Sink looked it hadn't been cleaned, like someone dumped a full coffee filter down the drain. TV signal had a lot of interference and tv had no HDMI port. Breakfast was sparse and stale at 6:30am (available 6-9am). Ice machine was a countertop unit on the breakfast line. No vending machine.
Bed was comfy though. Good toiletry quality.”
