“Our party of 3 arrived the evening of Apr 3rd for a 3 night stay. The owner showed us to our cabin, and it was in terrible condition. The stairs were loose, the handrailing was rickety, the door didn't fit properly. “I had an absolutely amazing stay. I loved the common areas! Spent tons of time in the hanging chairs reading and enjoying the view. Great proximity to the town, most dinner places/restaurants are walkable. My personal room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was great! Everyone was very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. “Stunning views from restaurant and room across as far as lake Arenal. All the food offerings were fantastic from breakfast to evening meals using home grown and home made items. Regular supply of wildlife to keep you entertained. Only slight negative was a reasonably long walk up a steep hill to get to the nearest shops etc but that’s no fault of the hotel. Also be aware there is no A/C in the rooms if you are as lucky as we were with the weather.”
