“Clean, modern, nicely equipped cabin. Comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings, safe. Excellent service. It helps to have a 4x4 rental to get here but it isn’t absolutely necessary. One note: there are neighborhood dogs that bark some nights. They’re not on the property but they are around. Earplugs were provided and we used them on one night. We would stay here again. Recommended. ”

“Die Anlagen auf dem die kleinen Häuschen stehen, ist ein Traum. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und lädt zum erkunden ein. Das Häuschen selbst hat alles was man braucht, sogar eine Hängematte ist vorhanden. Unser Highlight war aber definitiv Kira, die freundliche Haushündin mit der rosa Schleife.”

“Room was clean, breakfast was good - with several choices. They helped us book a couple last minute hikes when we arrived. We were only there 2 nights with both being pretty windy. It was a bit noisy during the heavy wind gusts. The deck with view of water was nice. ”

“I was thinking just a room with the breakfast included option for two people but it turned out they have a full kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The host and her daughter were super friendly and willing to help us out. They recommended a good local restaurants and our stay was very comfortable. It’s a nice location too. Close to the downtown but still very quiet. ”

“This B&B is clean, nicely equipped, with a good breakfast, friendly staff, easy parking, and short walk to the center of Santa Elena. We liked the personal touch that comes with a B&B that has 8 rooms. The host is wonderful and we would certainly stay here again on a return trip. ”

“Private cottage with bedroom, bathroom and kitchenette. Great porch with jungle view. Friendly staff, beautiful grounds with walking trails, lots of birds and wildlife. Large fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, coffee maker(no coffee)/kettle and all the cookware/dishes needed to eat in. Paper towel, dish soap and sponge/cloths provided. Locked gated entrance with access code at night. Quick drive to town and attractions. Great spot for a couple of nights or an extended stay. ”

“This a unique experience. Staff was very helpful and their breakfast which we had one morning was delicious. We even managed to get Italian food delivered (easier with USD cash). The view is unbelievable and we definitely enjoyed as a family with 2 teenagers. Note that like all roads in Costa Rica, always better with a 4WD car. We had a simple 4x4 SUV and we had no issue driving (slowly) the 1.5km or so to get to the property even under set season rain. Again, great experience if you are looking...

The Family runs the hotel and they were the nicest people ever. Very accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area in terms of activities as well as places to eat if you're interested in local cuisine, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visit MonteVerde for a true, local experience. “Excellent lodging! We had two spacious rooms, each with a private bath, that looked like new builds. Daily room cleaning. Full breakfast every morning included. Sergio is so nice and sets up any tours and transportation that you would like. Wonderful experience! I highly recommend!”

“Everything about our stay was fabulous! The views were better than we could have imagined. Every detail of the place was well thought out from the window in the shower looking out to the protection from the wind while on the deck! The nice bottle of sparkling wine to welcome us with the shades drawn was very sweet! Opening the shades for the reveal was so fun! We loved the items provided for breakfast the following day and all the little goodies that were left for us! We could not have imagined...
