“Unser Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war einfach traumhaft! Die Lage ist wunderschön und die Aussicht – besonders von der Terrasse – war einfach atemberaubend. Das Frühstück war sehr fein und reichhaltig, genau der richtige Start in den Tag. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die ruhige Atmosphäre, die zum Entspannen einlädt.
Auch der Pool ist sehr schön gestaltet – perfekt zum Abkühlen und Genießen. Ein großes Lob geht an die Managerin – sie war super nett und herzlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer...

“Esperienza eccezionale. Quinta situata in una posizione fantastica lungo il fiume Douro. Posizione tranquillissima. Personale gentilissimo e disponilissimo per qualsiasi richiesta. La nostra camera (suite Eleanor) era su due piani con salottino e camera da letto e bagno vista vigne e fiume. Abbiamo anche usufruito del servizio ristorazione: ottima la cena anche se a prezzi “italiani” ma ne vale sicuramente la pena. Molto positivo anche il tour&tasting all’interno della Quinta stessa.”
“En perle. Dejligt stort værelse. Dejlig morgenmad incl. røræg. Mange steder man kunne sidde og læse, spille og hygge. Brugte ikke swimmingpoolen, men den så dejlig ud. 2 stole på værelset, som er en fordel. Gik nogle Vandreture fra hotellet. Hvis man ikke er til at ligge og slappe af ved poolen, så tror jeg at 2 overnatninger er nok. Kan absolut anbefales. Fantastisk udsigt over Douro floden, med mange både/skibe, der sejler forbi.”
“The surroundings are beautiful, all vineyards. Know that this is in a pretty isolated area and it requires driving on small two lane mountain roads with some hairpin turns to get here.
We were practically the only guests here during our stay, and had a breakfast spread waiting for us each morning. We had the infinity pool to ourselves. The grounds are great.
The room was kind of fancy looking, but romantic. (Note: glass walls on the bathroom.) Also note, you have to drive at least 15 minutes...
“Ein wunderbares Hotel, das wir sehr genossen haben. Der Pool mit Blick auf den Douro war ein Genuss, das Zimmer groß mit Terrasse, allerdings nicht mit Blick zum Tal. Auch das Frühstück war hervorragend: Es gab u.a. Pasteis de Nata und frisch gepressten Orangensaft. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Der Weg zum Hotel ist mit Koffern eine gewisse Herausforderung. Wir empfehlen, statt des kurzen Weges über Treppen und steile Wegstücke mit Kopfsteinpflaster den etwas weiteren Weg...
