“I had a horrible experience at this hotel. After an experience with bed bugs I always check the mattresses when I check in. I discovered the mattress was soiled with stains that appear to be urine. The stains covered the entire mattress. I was told by hotel staff when I asked to change rooms that all the mattresses look like this. “We really enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion hotel. We loved the amenities. Our grandkids enjoyed the playground. We were happy to find such a nice dog friendly hotel. And we all enjoyed the indoor pool. We had a wonderful time with our family there. The staff were nice. The rooms were clean. We also loved having connecting rooms with our family. We would definitely stay there again.”

“Hotel is slightly outdated, bed was comfortable, but pillows were flat. Room was a very large and spacious corner suite. Breakfast was not included so we paid $14/pp to eat sub-par hotel breakfast and the staff at breakfast was rude. There is a Wendy’s and Taco Bell within 5 min walking distance. Elevator is jumpy, so I opted to walk up and down six flights during my stay. Check out was fast and simple. Oh and on night one we had a friendly spider show up in our room…. “Beds were hard as hell. May as well been sleeping on a piece of plywood. Girlfriend and I both had back pain in the morning when we got up. Could barely sleep because of the beds. The TV remote and hair dryer were both sticky. God only knows what was on them. The room was dusty around fridge and could use a good dusting and cleaning in a few spots. Definitely won't be returning.”

“Good location... Rooms are always clean, plenty of towels, mini-fridge, and TV... Hotel Restaurant "Why Not Stop", good food, bar and drinks, it has been very good the times we have stayed, good steak oscar! Disaapointed it is closed Sundays, but plenty of alternative choices. Pantry next door has great breakfasts and beverage choices.”

“I feel like this hotel is very overrated on Expedia. It felt average in most aspects. Our room was on the first floor by the side entrances... We heard slams each and every time someone went through that door, it was annoying to say the least. Staff was kind and place was clean, but it didn't feel like a 9/10 experience. Bed was meh, pillows were awful, and the noise from outside my room was unbearable. This hotel is overrated to say the least.”
