“Currently expecting Expedia to refund our money. We stayed for only about half an hour before giving our keys back to the front desk and stating our expectation of a refund . The room literally had NO WINDOWS BUT THERE WERE CURTAINS OVER DRYWALL WHERE THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WINDOWS!!! THE RECEPTIONIST HAD NO ALTERNATE ROOM TO OFFER. .COMPLETELY UNSAFE.”

“We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)”

“Great location along Granville & Sackville Streets, just a few short blocks from the waterfront and terrific value for money. Room was clean and though a little small, had all the essentials including a desk with a phone charger and wifi, lots of hooks on the door, as well a cabinet to put away and hang up personal items like clothing. There were several individual bathrooms on each floor and all came with a shower. Each floor has a shared common area with a kitchen and fridge, microwave, etc....

“The pictures on Expedia are deceiving!!! False advertising at its finest!!! First room upon arrival the AC didn't work so they said they'd get us a new room and it was definitely a downgrade!!! All along the wall of the bathtub was black mold, the room phone didn't work, TV didn't work, AC was on high and as cold as it went and was still hot in the room for sleeping. When I went down to the front desk to voice my concerns was asked well what would you like us to do about it. I replied with what...

“The room was clean and the hotel was in good shape. There was lots of parking but it did take a while to get there from downtown Halifax. It was about a 25 minute drive but it was raining. The bed was comfortable and although the room was a little dated it was fine. It even had a pool but we were only there for the night.”
