“Old. Needs. Updating. Chair in our room was disgusting. Rug should be replaced. Smelled musty. All staff we encountered were friendly and polite. Staff were the best part of this hotel. Area seemed safe.”

“The room was spacious. Served our needs. They're working on modernizing. Room had some of that but needed more light. Hallway carpet needs replacing as smelled heavily of cigar. Was worth what we spent to get off the road for the evening and gentleman at the desk was friendly.”

“Good value for the price. Was not as clean as the other reviews led me to believe, but not terrible. Room definitely could use some detail work, such as dusting the top of light switches baseboards and the headboard. Walls could be wiped down. That sort of thing. Bathroom was really small, with a sink that was about the size of an airplane sink, but there was storage in a medicine cabinet and other places to store and place items, so the best was made of the space within the room. I had trouble...

“We were not sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised. It feels more like a self service Airbnb as you get your own code emailed to you in advance to get into the building and your room. The place is quaint and well maintained. It provided what we needed - nothing fancy, convenient location. My one and only complaint was the coffee. It’s a basic household 12 cup brewer so both mornings we came down to an empty coffee pot and didn’t have time to wait for them to brew another pot....

“The room itself was very clean, but the property is under construction and everything else is in disrepair. Paint peeling from the hallway walls, trash piled up outside, outdoor lights hanging by chords. We could not escape the smell of cigarette smoke, which just permeated the room. The staff was very friendly, but this did not make up for the rest of it.”
